HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.41800 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioners state that their assigned lands in Sy.Nos.244/3 and 244/8 situated at Peddamberpet Village, Hayathnagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, were acquired for the purpose of Outer Ring Road Project and they sought compensation/ex-gratia in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1307, dated 23-12-1993. The application of the petitioners appears to be under consideration of the respondents and reports were called for by the 2nd respondent and are forwarded to the 3rd respondent for appropriate action and payment of ex-gratia. However, though the petitioners land was acquired long back, their claim for ex-gratia is still pending. The last representation made by the petitioners to the 3rd respondent on 02-11-2015 also having not invoked any response, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.

The petitioners also rely upon the payment made to some of the assignees vide proceedings of the 3rd respondent, dated 25-07-2014, which is filed as Ex.P-8. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. In the facts and circumstances of the case, in my view, it is appropriate to dispose of the writ petition by directing the 3rd respondent to examine the request of the petitioners in the light of the reports already obtained by him and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners representation, dated 02-11-2015 expeditiously preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
