Today, when the matter is called, it is represented by the learned Government Pleader that election to the Gram Panchayat was held on 7.3.2017 and 8th respondent was declared as election as Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands closed, with a liberty to the petitioner herein to avail appropriate remedy before appropriate forum, if he is advised to do so.
