THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3595 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-Accused No.1 under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.80 of 2015 on the file of Narsipatnam Rural Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b)(1) (c ) and 25 of the NDPS Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioner along with two persons was found in possession of 510 kgs of Ganja.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the quantity of ganja alleged to have been seized from the possession of the petitioner and other accused, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought by the petitioner.
