This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash proceedings in P.R.C.No.7 of 2007 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kotabommali, Srikakulam District, arising out of Crime No.23 of 2007 of Santhabommali Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 506 IPC and Section 3 (1) (x) of SC & STs (POA) Act, 1989, initiated against the petitioner/ accused.

At the time of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has sought permission of this Court to permit the petitioner to withdraw the criminal petition with liberty to avail all the remedies available to him under law. Permission is granted.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to avail all the remedies available to him under law including filing of a petition for discharge, if charges are already not framed. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
