THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.25520 OF 2011 DATED 08th JUNE, 2015 Between:

Agasti Srimannarayana and others .. Petitioners and The Superintendent of Police, Krishna at Machilipatnam and others .. Respondents

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.25520 OF 2011

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioners in this case was that the police authorities were interfering with them and obstructing their agricultural operations and a

consequential direction was sought to the police authorities not to interfere with the petitioners' peaceful possession and enjoyment of their agricultural land at Manjaluru Village, Bantumilli Mandal, Krishna District. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Bantumilli police station, Krishna District, filed a counter affidavit denying the allegation that the police authorities interfered with the civil disputes of the petitioners with the fifth respondent. He further stated that the police authorities never threatened or harassed the petitioners or obstructed their agricultural operations.

No reply affidavit was filed rebutting the above counter averments. In the light of the categorical stand of the police, this Court sees no reason to interfere in the matter.

Duly taking on record the stand of the police authorities as set out in the counter-affidavit, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
