The grievance of the petitioner is that he is not considered as Village Assistant in the place of his deceased father, in the service of State of Andhra Pradesh. Since the claim of the petitioner relates to employment in the State of Andhra Pradesh, petitioner has to invoke the jurisdiction of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal (for short 'the APAT'), constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. The APAT is the Court of first instance to adjudicate the service disputes. 3.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
