HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.28692 of 2018 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondentpolice are not registering the F.I.R. and not proceeding with the investigation pursuant to the complaint made by the petitioner dated 14-07-2018.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home again seeks time for filing counter.

The Apex Court has laid down guidelines for registering the complaints under Section 154 Cr.P.C. in the judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police to take appropriate steps on the complaint of the petitioner in accordance with guidelines laid down in Lalitha Kumar's case cited supra. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
