This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (for short 'Cr.P.C') is filed by the petitioners/accused to quash the proceedings in FIR 176 of 2015 pending on the file of Police Station, Maheswaram, Cyberabad, for the offence under Section 306 IPC ( initially registered as Man Burns. Heard Sri N. Naveen Kumar, learned counsel for petitioners. Learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana represented that the Police have already filed charge sheet and it was taken cognizance by the learned XXVI Metropolitan Magistrate at Maheswaram, Cyberabad and numbered as PRC.14 of 2016 and hence, the instant petition, which is filed for quashment of the Proceedings in FIR has became infructuous and prayed to dismiss the petition.
It is seen that pending Criminal Petition, no stay was granted. In view of the submission of both the counsel, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, in this case, shall stand closed.
