HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.8525 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, is filed by the Petitioners/A-7 to A-16 to quash the proceedings in Crime No.101 of 2018 of Habeebnagar Police Station, Hyderabad City, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 448, 427, 504, 506 and 379 R/w.149 of I.P.C.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the concerned S.H.O. to follow the procedure under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar and another1. 3.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioners, the Station House Officer, Habeebnagar Police Station, Hyderabad City, is directed to follow the procedure under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar (supra). 4.

Accordingly, with the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed in consequence.
