THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1138 OF 2016 ORDER:

Aggrieved by the order dated 29.03.2016 passed in Crl.M.P.No.71 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.252 of 2016 by the Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Cyberabad at L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad, wherein the petitioner was directed to be released on bail on a condition of depositing Rs.4,00,000/- out of Rs.15,00,000/- within one month, the present revision is filed.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is bedridden and as such, he is not in a position to raise an amount of Rs.4,00,000/- within one month towards compensation. He further submits that in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in Dilip S.Dahanukar V. Kotak Mahindra Co. Ltd. - (2007) 6 SCC 528, the petitioner may be exempted from payment of compensation.

3. Having regards to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, as compensation, in view of the judgment of the Apex Court in Dilip S.Dahanukar V. Kotak Mahindra Co. Ltd. - (2007) 6 SCC 528. The other conditions imposed in the impugned order shall remain unaltered.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
