The counsel for petitioners states that the Writ Petition has become infructuous in view of the fact that subsequent to the filing of the Writ Petition, the ratios for effecting promotions to the post of Deputy Executive Engineer from the post of Assistant Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer were fixed subsequently, which was sought for in this Writ Petition.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
