THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.43757 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 1 and 2 in not accounting and settling 36,68,022 units under-drawn by the petitioner's unit situated at Chilmakur, Kadapa District, which were scheduled as per InterState Short Term Open Access permissions granted by SRLDC, Bangalore during the period July 2014 to March 2016 as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard Sri Challa Gunaranjan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri N.Siva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel. 3.

At the time of arguments, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2016.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to express any opinion touching the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2016 in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
