THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.1834 OF 2016

O R D E R

Sri Reddy Venkata Ramana, learned counsel for the petitioner, would state that proceedings dated 22.07.2016 were issued by the Commissioner, Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, Visakhapatnam, in compliance with the order dated 20.04.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.13107 of 2016, which is the subject matter of this contempt case. He would however state that the petitioner's grievance as regards the interest component still remains unresolved. This aspect of the matter cannot be adjudicated by this Court in exercise of contempt jurisdiction.

The contempt case is accordingly closed leaving it open to the petitioner to seek redressal of his grievance in relation to the proceedings dated 22.07.2016 before the appropriate forum in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
