THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI CONTEMPT CASE No.2440 of 2015 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, alleging willful disobedience of the orders of this Court passed on 05-10-2015 in W.P.No.30702 of 2015. By way of the said order, dated 05-10-2015, this Court disposed of the writ petition by recording the written instructions, dated 30-09-2015 furnished by the Assistant Sub Inspector of Police, I. Polavaram Police Station, East Godavari District. In the said instructions the Assistant Sub Inspector of Police, I. Polavaram Police Station, East Godavari District stated that he is taking steps to register a criminal case against the 5th respondent and others.

In the present Contempt Case a counter-affidavit is filed by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Amalapuram, East Godavari District and at paragraph No.5 of the said counter affidavit it is stated that on 12-11-2015 the Station House Officer, I. Polavaram Police Station, East Godavari District received the petitioner's complaint and registered a case in Cr.No.128 of 2015, dated 1211-2015 under Sections 447, 427, 323 and 506 r/w.34 of IPC against six individuals and investigation has been taken up and examined as many as eleven (11) witnesses.

In view of the above developments, nothing further survives for adjudication in the matter.

Accordingly, the contempt case is closed and the respondents stand discharged.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this

Contempt Case shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
