THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.18376 of 2015 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the inaction of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in updating the voters list for the ensuing election for the constitution of the Managing Committee of Jamia Masjid, Eidgah and graveyard, Chilkalguda, Secunderabad.

It is the admitted case that the election notification was issued for conduct of elections to the Managing Committee and the last date for receipt of nominations was mentioned as 22.05.2015. The withdrawal of nominations was allowed up to 25.05.2015. The scrutiny of the nominations was mentioned as 27.05.2015. The election is scheduled to be held on 25.06.2015 between 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In view of the completion of the nomination process, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted at this stage. In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
