Heard Sri G.Ravi Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A.Rama Rao, learned standing counsel for the respondentCorporation.

2. The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that there is an inaction on the part of the 1st respondent in not passing the orders on the review petition filed by the petitioner dated 19.11.2015.

3. The petitioner was the driver in the respondent-Corporation. He was terminated from service vide proceedings dated 13.08.2015 of the 2nd respondent. Against the said order of termination, he filed an appeal before the Appellate Authority and the same also ended in dismissal by rejection vide proceedings dated 16.10.2015.

Questioning the validity of the said orders passed by the Primary Authority and the Appellate Authority, the petitioner herein preferred a review petition on 19.11.2015 before the 1st respondent-Regional Manager, APSRTC, Chittoor. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that in spite of lapse of considerable time, the said review petition has not been disposed of by the 1st respondent. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the impugned orders in the review petition cannot stand for judicial scrutiny in view of the judgments reported in 'Durgappa vs. Industrial Tribunal[1]' and 'Jasvant Singh vs. Pepsu Roadways Transport Corporation[2]'.

4. Having regard to the nature of controversy and the relief sought for by the petitioner, this court deem it appropriate to dispose of

the writ petition by directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the review petition dated 19.11.2015 said to have submitted by the petitioner by fixing time frame.

5. For the afore mentioned reasons, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the review petition dated 19.11.2015 submitted by the petitioner against the orders of termination dated 13.08.2015, as confirmed by the Appellate Authority by proceedings dated 16.10.2015, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
