This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent police in not taking action against the unofficial respondent Nos.6 and 7 pursuant to the written complaint dated 29.06.2018, followed by personal visits, as illegal and arbitrary and for a consequential direction to the respondent police to forthwith act upon the complaint dated 29.06.2018 and take action.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that complaint of the petitioner was enquired into by the 5th respondent and found to be civil in nature; and that the same was also informed to petitioner through Registered post on 13.08.2018. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to avail alternate remedy as may be available to him under law.
