The case of the petitioner is that the ratio between the Junior Assistants/Typists and the Village Revenue Officers for further promotion to the post of Senior Assistant was earlier fixed at 60 : 40 i.e. 60% posts from the Junior Assistants cadre and 40% posts from Village Revenue Officers cadre in the 2013 when the posts of Junior Assistants/Typists were more than the posts of Village Revenue Officers in number.

The grievance of the petitioner, which is an Association of the Village Revenue Officers is that now the cadre strength of the Villages Revenue Officer is far more than the cadre strength of the Jr. Assistants/Typists and, therefore, there is every necessity to revise the ratio in proportionate of the cadre strength of the Village Revenue Officers and for that purpose made a representation dated 28-03-2017 to the respondents 1 and 2, but the same has not been disposed of till date. Hence, this writ petition. 3.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Asst. Government Pleader for Revenue.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, suffice it direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 28-032017 said to have been made by the petitioner in that behalf, and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receitot of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is dispose of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
