ORAL ORDER:
The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that though revision was filed in the year 2013 by the 6th respondent against the orders of the Mandal Revenue Officer in proceedings No.A2/33/2001 dated 20.8.2001, the same is not being disposed of and due to pendency of the revision grave prejudice is caused to the petitioner. Petitioner herein is third respondent before the revisional authority.
2.
Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned counsel for 6th respondent and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (TS). 3.
On instructions, learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that the revision was listed on 29.7.2017 but could not be taken up on that day and next date of hearing is fixed on 23.12.2017 and appropriate steps will be taken for early disposal of the same. 4.
In view of the said statement, learned counsel as well as learned counsel for 6th respondent are satisfied and requested for fixing time limit for early disposal of the revision. 5.
Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of directing the Revisional Authority/3rd respondent to dispose of the revision as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Petitioner as well as 6th respondent shall cooperate for early disposal of the revision. It is open to the Revisional Authority to dispose of the revision petition on merits if petitioner or 6th respondent do not cooperate in attending to hearing of the revision on the dates fixed. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed. __________________ P NAVEEN RAO,J DATE: 24.10.2017 TVK
