THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE M.GANGA RAO WRI T PETI TI ON NO.28786 OF 2018 ORDER: (per SK,J) The grievance of the petitioners, the applicants in O.A.No.1548 of 2018 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad, is with regard to dismissal of the said O.A. vide order dated 02.08.2018. A consequential direction is sought to the authorities to promote them to the posts of Senior Assistant in the upgraded category posts.

Sri P.Amarender, learned counsel for the petitioners, would inform this Court that the Tribunal straight away dismissed the O.A. being of the opinion that the petitioners could not hustle the administration to fill up the posts from the feeder category of Village Revenue Officers. Learned counsel would state that the petitioners submitted representation dated 18.06.2018 to the District Collector, Visakhapatnam, setting out their grievances in detail. He would further state that it would suffice if the said representation is given due consideration in accordance with law. As the authorities are yet to address the issue sought to be raised by the petitioners by way of their aforestated representation, we see no reason to entertain this writ petition or adjudicate it on merits.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the District Collector, Visakhapatnam, to consider the petitioners' representation dated 18.06.2018 in accordance with law and pass appropriate reasoned orders thereon. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
