ORDER

The petitioner was appointed as Field Assistant of Gaaliveedu Grampanchayat, Gaaliveedu Mandal, YSR Kadapa District, by proceedings dated 26.02.2010. A show cause notice was issued to her on 18.05.2016 at the instance of the Sarpanch of Gaaliveedu Grampanchayat. She submitted her explanation before the third respondent denying the charge. A personal hearing was conducted on 30.05.2016 and thereafter, an order was passed on 01.06.2016 terminating the services of the petitioner. Against the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the second respondent on 27.06.2016 and the same was not disposed of till today. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj for respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and Sri M.S.R.Chandra Mouly, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3.

Since the grievance of the writ petitioner is for disposal of the appeal by the second respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to consider the appeal dated 27.06.2016, preferred against the order dated 01.06.2016 passed by the third respondent, and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
