This criminal petition is filed for quash of the proceedings in CC.No.537 of 2012, against the petitioners, who are A2 and A4, on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kalwakurthy. The offences alleged are under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Midjil Police Station, Wanaparthy District dated 22.11.2018 stating that the case ended in acquittal on 06.07.2018.

In the light of the above, this Court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. The criminal petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. __________ T. RAJANI, J November 30, 2018 DSK
