ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the settlement dues payable to the petitioner consequent upon the death of her husband-Md.Khader Pasha, subsequent to his retirement on medical grounds, and in not considering the representation of the petitioner for employment as per the new scheme notified in Circular No.PD-19/2015, dated 3.6.2015, as arbitrary, illegal and consequently, to direct the respondents to pay the settlement dues of late Md.Khader Pasha to the petitioner and to provide employment to the petitioner in terms of the said circular. Heard Sri A.G.Satyanarayana Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri N.Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondentCorporation.

It is the case of the petitioner that her husband worked as Driver and retired from service on medical grounds. Thereafter, her husband expired on 16.4.2015. Hence, she submitted a representation on 28.7.2015 to the respondents seeking payment of settlement dues of her husband. But, the

respondents neither considered the representation nor passed any orders. Hence, the writ petition.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation submits that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is of the considered view that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 28.7.2015.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 28.7.2015 and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
