The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondentpolice are not taking action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 17-10-2017 in terms of Apex Court judgment in Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1. Heard both sides.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police to take action on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 17-10-2017 in accordance with the guidelines laid down in the Apex Court judgment of Lalitha Kumar's case cited supra, if not already followed. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
