O R D E R
The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent - police authorities are not registering the crime based on his complaint dated 26.06.2018 and providing police protection enabling him and his family members to stay at their native village.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions of the Station House Officer, Machareddy Police Station, Kamareddy District, dated 14.08.2018, denying the allegations of the petitioner and stating that they received the complaint of the petitioner by post and the contents of the complaint were entered in the general diary and during enquiry, number of villagers were examined and recorded their statements. The villagers stated that the petitioner is not residing in the village for the past four years and that while he was working as Dubai Agent, he has taken money from several villagers and instead of returning the said amounts, fled from the village. In order to avoid repayment, he is not coming to the village.
He locked his house and went elsewhere and that they do not know his whereabouts. The Sarpanch, Lachapeta Gram Panchayat, Machareddy mandal, at the request of the police, enquired about the whereabouts of the petitioner and had given a certificate dated 08.07.2018 stating that the petitioner is not staying in the village for the past four or five years and that he also stated that petitioner while working as Dubai Agent, incurred debts and in order to clear the said debts, raised loans from several villagers and instead of clearing them, left the village. In the written instructions it is further stated that enquiry further revealed that there is no life threat to the petitioner and his family members.
10.08.2018 about the enquiry conducted by the police, to the address given in the complaint.
Recording the above statement made in the written instructions, writ petition is disposed of.
