The present appeal was referred to Lok Adalat by order, dated 17.08.2018.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for appellant-Insurance company submits that the appeal was dismissed as withdrawn on 08.09.2018 before the Lok Adalat and therefore, the present appeal may be dismissed as withdrawn. Since the award constitutes a decree, the present appeal is dismissed as withdrawn in terms of the award passed by the Lok Adalat on 08.09.2018.
