THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No. 16879 of 2016 ORDER:
The challenge in this writ petition is to the electricity power bill-cum-notice, whereunder a demand for Rs.1,16,754/- was made.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondents 1 to 3, and perused the material record.
3. At the hearing, learned counsel for both the parties would submit that the subject matter is covered by the orders dated 28.03.2016 in writ petition No.9115 of 2016 and, therefore, the present writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the afore-mentioned order.
4. I have carefully gone through the present writ petition and also the orders in the earlier writ petition mentioned supra.
5. Having regard to the submissions and following the earlier orders, this Writ Petition is disposed of, subject to the following terms: The impugned notice is set aside giving liberty to the respondents to issue notice to the petitioner calling for objections for change of category of service connection and pass appropriate orders, after considering the objections of the petitioner and any other documents, which the petitioner may produce, and communicate the final order to the petitioner. Till such orders are passed, the petitioner is directed to pay the electricity consumption charges under category III-A. The bills of the petitioner shall, however, be subject to the revision, depending upon the result of the enquiry and the eventual orders, which the competent authority may pass, as per the directions in this writ petition. No order as to costs.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand dismissed.
