When the matter is taken up, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by the orders of this court in WP.No.14192 of 2011 and batch dated 01/7/2015 and a copy of the same is placed on record.

2. Following the said judgment and for the reasons recorded therein, this writ petition is also disposed of holding that the police authorities would be at liberty to regulate the business undertaken by the petitioners relating to serving of flavoured hookahs in their establishments. In terms of such regulation, it would be open to the police authorities to enter upon and cause inspection of the petitioners business establishments for the purpose of securing due compliance with the guidelines already prescribed and also guidelines that may be prescribed in future in this regard. No costs.

3. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in

this writ petition shall stand closed.
