K.Ramaswamy, v. Government Of Andhra Pradesh, Rep., By Its Secretary
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.17837 of 2013 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under: "... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 1 to 3 in not investigating Crime No.54 of 2013 registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C. on the file of respondent No.3 as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India." The basic grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of registration of Crime No.54 of 2013, the respondents are not investigating into the said crime.
During the course of hearing, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the crime has been investigated and a report has been filed on 30.01.2014 to the effect that the action sought to be taken is dropped.
In view of the above said submission, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. _____________________ P. KESHAVA RAO, J Date: 22.11.2018.
