This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing proceedings No.LC/876(33)/2013-RM:WL dated 08.07.2013 imposing punishment of deferment of annual increment for two years with cumulative effect and treating the period from the date of suspension till the date of reporting to duty as not on duty for all purposes, as illegal.

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and Sri B.Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for TSRTC.

Learned Standing Counsel for TSRTC submits that against the impugned order, alternative remedy is available by way of filing an appeal, which is not disputed. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to avail an alternative remedy of appeal before the respondents and on filing such appeal, the respondents are directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law.
