THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.5754 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against him in F I R No.125 of 2013 on the file of Hanamkonda Police Station, Warangal Urban District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 354 and 506 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioner, who is the husband of Secretary of the Space Home for the Blinds, outraged the modesty of the 2nd respondent in the staff room of the Home and threatened her with dire consequences.

After arguing for some time, the learned Counsel for the petitioner prayed for issuing a direction to the 1st respondent-police to file a final report, if any in the above crime. The above crime was registered in the year 2013. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer sought by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

"The 1st respondent-police are directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, if any, in the above crime within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
