THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.28984 OF 2017 O R D E R:

The writ petition is filed questioning the action of the 3rd respondent in not initiating any investigation pursuant to the complaint dated 14.07.2017 of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary.

The case of the petitioner is that with respect to missing of the blank cheques numbering in 14, petitioner had made a complaint to the 3rd respondent police on 14.07.2017, but the 3rd respondent police did not take any action so far. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner submitted a complaint on 14.7.2017, no action was taken so far and hence he prays to direct the respondent police to make necessary enquiry and file a report as expeditiously as possible.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that on receiving the complaint from the petitioner, the entries in the General Diary have been made and the 3rd respondent police are in the process of conducting the investigation and necessary action would be taken in due course. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent police to complete the enquiry on the complaint made by the petitioner and file a report as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
