O r d e r :

This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

"to issue a writ or order more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not implementing and following the Government order vide G.O.Ms.No.44 Municipal Administration and Urban Development (Elecs.II) 6th February 1995 at Rule 11 and not following the rule of reservation for Women as per women ratio inspite of petitioner applications dated 29-122015, 4-1-2016, 6-1-2016, 7-12016, 11-1-2016, 19-1-2016, 22-1-2016 and 25-1-2016 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and also against the provisions of G.O.Ms.No.44 MA&LJD (Elec.II) Department dated 6-2-1995 and consequential directions to the respondents to change from women reservation category to general category in respect of 45th division in Khammam Municipal Corporation, Khammam, Khammam District, Telangana State immediately."

After arguing the case, Mr.Karunakar Reddy, learned Counsel for the petitioners, requested for permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to his clients to avail appropriate legal remedy including filing of a fresh Writ Petition with proper pleadings, if respondent No.2 has not deleted the bogus names from the voters' list and has not revised the reservations.

The request of the learned Counsel for the petitioners is accepted and the Writ Petition is,

accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners in terms of the prayer made.

As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.3756 of 2016, filed by the petitioners for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous. ______________________ (C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy, J) Dt: 3rd February, 2016 lur
