The petitioners are stated to be the absolute owners of the agricultural lands admeasuring total extent of Ac.7.73 cents of land in R.S.Nos.129/1, 2, 130 and R.S.Nos.124/1, 125/1, 126/1, 3 of Chennuru Village, Pedana Mandal, Krishna District. As there was no feasibility for carrying out the agricultural operations in those lands, the petitioners made an application to the 3rd respondent for grant of permission to convert the said land into fish tank. Initially, the District Level Committee granted provisional registration on 08.07.2014. Accordingly the petitioners dug the tank and made an application on 20.07.2015 for final registration. As no action was taken on the said application, the present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Fisheries for respondents.

In view of the fact that the petitioners have already submitted application dated 20.07.2015 for final registration, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same for final registration in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs. _____________________________ A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J.
