THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.28573 of 2017 ORDER:

Petitioner claims to be the owner and is in possession of land to an extent of Acs.4.28 cents in Survey No.315 of Pasupula Village, Kurnool Mandal and District. He claims to have succeeded to the said property from his father who was granted patta on 16.09.1972. He desires entry of his name in revenue records and issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds. He claims that several representations are made, but so far, no corrections are made and pattadar pass book and title deed are not issued.

2.

The averments mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of writ petition and material enclosed to writ petition do not disclose that an application is made in Form - VI(A) as prescribed under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. To set in motion the process for mutation of revenue records and issuance of pattadar pass books and title deeds, basic requirement is submission of application in Form-VI(A). Admittedly, no such application is made. Merely based on a representation made, petitioner cannot complain of inaction by respondent authorities.

3.

While granting liberty to petitioner to make an application in accordance with Form - VI(A), this writ petition is disposed of.

4.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand disposed of in consequence.
