HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 9065 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioners/A4 & A5 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.46 of 2013 of Srirampur Police Station, Adilabad District, which was registered for the offences under Section 498-A and Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 13.6.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Srirampur Police Station, Adilabad District and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed before the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Mancherial, Adilabad District and CC is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.46 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
