THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.22197 OF 2010 ORDER:

Opening of rowdy sheet against the petitioner herein is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. When the matter is called, written instructions dated 09.06.2016, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Chandragiri Police Station, Tirupati Urban District, have been placed on record by the learned Government Pleader. In the said written instructions, it is stated that the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, West Sub Division, Tirupathi, by proceedings Rc.No.14/HS/Closure/SDPO-TPT(W)/2016, dated 01.06.2016, accorded permission to close the rowdy sheet against the petitioner herein and pursuant to the said orders, rowdy sheet against the petitioner was closed on 01.06.2016. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication further in the present writ petition.

3. Accordingly, Writ Petition is closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
