O R D E R
This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 02.12.2015 passed in W.P.No.39162 of 2015. By the said order, this Court directed the police authorities to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court in LALI TA KUMARI V/ s.
GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1. The specific complaint of the petitioner in that case was that the police authorities had not registered an FIR on his complaint dated 12.05.2014.
The Inspector of Police, Ibrahimpatnam Police Station, filed a counter-affidavit stating that upon the complaint dated 12.05.2014 submitted by the petitioner, Crime No.174 of 2014 was registered on the very same date on the file of the Ibrahimpatnam Police Station under Sections 447, 427 IPC. However, after investigation, a final report was filed before the learned IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Ibrahimpatnam, vide Inward No.151/2016 dated 19.01.2016, stating that there was no evidence of commission of the offences alleged. In the light of the aforestated facts, which remain unrebutted, there is no evidence of disobedience, much less willful disobedience, to the order passed by this Court warranting exercise of contempt jurisdiction.
