L Mahadevareddy v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE Mr. JUSTICE M. GANGA RAO Writ Petition No.30785 of 2017 Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The proceedings of the General Manager, Industries Centre, dated 16.6.2017 records that the acknowledgment issued in favour of the 5th respondent is being treated as a consent of the A.P. Pollution Control Board subject to certain conditions.
While Sri K. Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioners, would contend that this acknowledgment would not suffice, and that specific permission is required from the A.P. Pollution Control Board, these contentions urged by the learned counsel for the petitioners, can only be examined in appropriate legal proceeding wherein the acknowledgment dated 16.6.2017 is subjected to challenge.
Granting liberty to the petitioners to question the acknowledgment dated 16.6.2017 in duly constituted legal proceedings, the Writ Petition fails and is, accordingly, dismissed. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. _________________________________ (RAMESH RANGANATHAN, ACJ) ___________________ (M.
