HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.11186 of 2011 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed praying the following relief: "To issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to fix the pay of the petitioner in Revised Pay Scales of 2010 by releasing annual grade increments for which the petitioner is entitled to from the year 2004 onwards by declaring the action of the respondent in not releasing the increments due to the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary."

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned standing counsel representing Osmania University produced correspondence between the petitioner and the University and the orders passed by the University. It is seen from the letter of the petitioner dated 26.06.2013 addressed to the Vice Chancellor, Osmania University, he volunteers to treat the period from 21.05.2003 to 23.05.2005 as not on duty and sanction his pension and release benefits payable to him. The letter of the Deputy Registrar (Administration), Osmania University, addressed to the Deputy Registrar (Pre-Audit), Osmania University, would disclose that the Vice Chancellor accorded permission for release of annual grade increments of the petitioner for the duty period i.e., from 23.05.2005 onwards.

Learned standing counsel, on instructions, submit that the pay fixation has been made as per the Revised Pay Scales 2005 and 2010, and all the amounts payable to the petitioner are already paid. In view of the same, no further are required.

Recording the said submission, writ petition is disposed of having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
