THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY Writ Petition No.13854 of 2005 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue an appropriate writ or direction, particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus, declaring the impugned proceeding No.P1/752(1)/05-RM.MR, dated 16-06-2005 and consequential action putting the petitioner at serial No.221A in the seniority list published vide notification No.P1/752(1)/05.DM MR: dated 20-06-2005 as illegal, unjust, in violation of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and also contrary to the earlier seniority list, dated 08-03-2002 and proceedings, dated 06-03-2002 and consequently direct the respondents to extend all the consequential benefits to the petitioner on par with the petitioner's juniors.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the purpose of filing of writ petition has become infructuous. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
