In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioners-accused Nos. 1 and 2 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 993 of 2012 on the file of the Court of X Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Malkajgiri, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 423 and 506 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 06-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Malkajgiri Police Station, Rachakonda, and submitted that the case was compromised before Lok Adalat on 27-06-2015 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 993 of 2012, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
