THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 2075 OF 2017 O R D E R :

This Contempt Case has been filed for the wilful disobedience of the order dated 25.01.2017 in Writ Petition No. 2538 of 2017.

While disposing of the Writ Petition, at the admission stage, this Court made the following order:

"

In the facts of the present case, the notice dated 31.12.2016, being a non-speaking order without reference to the explanation submitted by the petitioner, the same is set aside, however, giving liberty to Respondents 2 and 3 to make a fresh order duly dealing with the objections filed by the petitioner. Till such time the order is made, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner."

In this Contempt Case, a counter-affidavit was filed by the 1st respondent Commissioner, Grater Warangal Municipal Corporation, categorically asserting that pursuant to the order dated 25.01.2017, a reasoned order was passed on 06.11.2017, a copy of which was also enclosed herewith.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner had already challenged the proceedings dated 06.11.2017 by filing a Writ Petition and obtained an interim order against it.

Inasmuch as the respondents have passed the reasoned order dated 06.11.2017, in compliance with the directions issued by this Court in the Writ Petition, the Contempt Case is closed. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
