HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.29047 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar in not considering the application dated 7.6.2018, submitted by the petitioners for mutating their names in the revenue records for the land admeasuring Ac.24.00 gts situated at Sy.No.1002 to 1006 having the boundaries as North: Railway Track, East: Sy.No.1002 to 1006, South: Crusher, West: Part of Sy.No.1007, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to dispose of the mutation application filed by the petitioner on 7.6.2018. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the application filed by the petitioners for mutation of their names in the revenue records, is not in the prescribed form and as such the 3rd respondent did not pass any orders.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to submit a fresh application under in Form 6A to the 3rd respondent seeking to mutate their names in the revenue records within a period of four weeks from today and on such filing of Form 6A, the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar shall deal with and pass appropriate orders as early as possible preferably within a period of eight to ten weeks thereafter, in accordance with law. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
