THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.21460 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioners pray for the following relief :- " ....... to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the Joint Collector, Kurnool, to dispose of the Revision Petition No.D5/ 601/ 2017 filed by the petitioners under Section 9 of A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Book Act, 1971 against the orders of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Adoni, Kurnool District, passed in Rc.E.1405/ 2015 dated 09.01.2017 ....." I have perused the writ affidavit and this Court is of the view that as the issue arises under the A.P.

Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act'), and keeping in view the scope and extent of jurisdiction, the revisional authority can exercise under the Act, the petitioner is given liberty to seek for early date of hearing of stay petition by filing a Memo along with a copy of this order before the 3rd respondent. On such request, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the stay petition filed by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed. ______________ S. V. BHATT, J Dt: 30-06-2017 Prv
