HON'BLE SMT. JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT PETITION No.7965 of 2010 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in calling upon the petitioner to pay advertisement tax/ fee for the sign boards displayed by the petitioner company/ distributors/ retailers at its and its dealers' business premises located at various places, as illegal and arbitrary and set aside the demand notices dated 02.03.2010 issued by respondents 1 and 3 and further set aside the proceedings dated 03.10.2009 of the 1st respondent and the consequential proceedings/ correspondences. Both the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Pingali Lakshmi, learned standing counsel for the 1st respondent admits that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment in Writ Petition No.23354 of 2008 & batch dated 31.12.2009.

In view of the same, this writ petition is also allowed in the same and similar terms of the judgment passed in Writ Petition No.23354 of 2008 & batch dated 31.12.2009. There shall be no order as to costs.
