THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.24571 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of respondent Nos.2 to 5 in taking action against respondent Nos.6 and 7 for converting the agricultural land into aquaculture unit without obtaining necessary permission from the concerned authority, as illegal and arbitrary.

At the time of argument, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Fisheries appearing for respondent No.5, on instructions, submitted that the Fisheries Development Officer, Karamchedu issued a notice dated 08.06.2016 to respondent Nos.6 and 7 stating that they have no right whatsoever to convert the agricultural land into aquaculture without license of Coastal Aquaculture Authority. He further submitted that respondent Nos.6 and 7 have stopped the work. In view of the submissions made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
