HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 20493 of 2017 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

" issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not including the name of the petitioner in the panel for appointment of Assistant Government Pleader for the Senior and Junior Civil Judge's Courts, Mahabubnagar, as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and contrary to the Andhra Pradesh Law Officers (Appointment and conditions of Service) Instructions, 2000;

and consequently direct the second respondent to forward the petitioner's name in the panel for appointment of Law Officer."

2) Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer to consider his representation dated 23.05.2017 made to the second respondent for inclusion of his name in the panel of names for appointment of Assistant Government Pleader for the Senior and Junior Civil Judges Court, Mahabubnagar.

3) At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader places on record the proceedings No.C3/ 4926/ 2011 which was dispatched on 24.06.2017, wherein the District Collector, Mahaboobnagar, has forwarded the list of advocates to the Government for appointment as Assistant

Government Pleader for the Senior and Junior Civil Judge's Court, Mahaboobnagar.

4) Such being the position, the request of the petitioner to consider his representation cannot be accepted at this stage. 5) Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to avail the remedies, if any, available under law. No order as to costs.

6) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
