wp_25785_2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed assailing order dated 21-02-2013 in O.A.No. 1629 of 2010 on the file of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal at Hyderabad.

From the perusal of the record, it is evident that the order sought to be impugned in this Writ Petition was passed as far back as 21-02-2013 and nearly 4 1⁄2 years have lapsed since then and the petitioners have not even offered a semblance of explanation for the long delay in approaching this Court. Though specific period of limitation is not prescribed for filing Writ Petition, the law is well settled that a party, if aggrieved by orders of lower Courts or Tribunals, cannot be permitted to avail the remedy under Article 226 of the Constitution of India at his leisure seeking to revive stale claims. In the absence of any explanation whatsoever for the inordinate delay in the petitioners approaching this Court, we are not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition. 3.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed only on the ground of laches. 4.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No. 31984 of 2017 shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
