HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.29182 OF 2018 ORDER:
The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents 2 and 3 in not correcting the entries made in the new pattadar passbooks pursuant to the representations dated 23.5.2018 and 29.3.2018 made by the petitioners, as illegal and arbitrary.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the petitioners submitted their applications on 23.5.2018 and 29.3.2018, requesting the respondent-authorities to correct the entries made in the new pattadar passbooks, the respondent-authorities did not take any action so far.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that the writ petition may be disposed of directing the respondent-authorities to consider the application/representations of the petitioners dated 23.5.2018 and 29.3.2018 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the application/representations of the petitioners dated 23.5.2018 and 29.3.2018 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as early as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this order, in accordance with law. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
